As part of this mission, we're thrilled to spotlight some of the most inspiring female DJs in the house music scene. These are the women you need to know about, and we're excited to give them the recognition they truly deserve.


London-born and Ibiza-based, Kellie Allen is making a name for herself in the house music scene with her energetic performances and unique sound. She's played at well-known venues like PIV, DC10, Solid Grooves, and Fabric London. Influenced by the jazz, funk, and soul music she grew up with, Kellie has released tracks on notable labels like PIV Records, MicroHertz, and Moxy Muzik. She has quickly become a rising star to watch in house music



LP Giobbi is a DJ, producer, and pianist known for her "one-woman jam band" performances, blending live piano with decks and samplers. She has captivated audiences at major festivals like Coachella, EDC, and Lollapalooza. Her sound channels the spirit of ’90s diva house, with tracks featuring powerful piano stabs and uplifting vocals, creating an infectious energy.


In addition to her musical achievements, LP Giobbi is a passionate activist for gender equality in the music industry. She founded FEMME HOUSE, a nonprofit dedicated to providing women and gender-expansive individuals with the tools and opportunities to succeed in music production. Her efforts have reached thousands through workshops, online courses, and scholarships.



ALISHA is a rising star in the UK house music scene, known for her deep bass lines and driving grooves. Hailing from Peterborough, she has gained attention with releases on labels like Eastenderz, Kaluki, and Hot Creations. Her EP Visions and standout track Changes have received notable support, including airplay on BBC Radio 1.


Her sound features deep rumbling bass lines and stripped-back percussion. ALISHA has performed at major events such as Jamie Jones’ Paradise at Amnesia, MusicOn, Creamfields, and Glastonbury. She’s shared the stage with underground icons like East End Dubs and has been supported by top house artists including Jamie Jones and Seb Zito.



Carlita, a DJ and producer from Istanbul, combines her classical training with electronic music to craft her distinctive sound. With experience in drums, cello, bass, and electric guitar, and influences from Turkish Psychedelia and Rock ‘n’ Roll, she offers a unique and engaging style.


She’s currently working on new remixes and her debut album, set for release later this year, which will include some exciting collaborations. Carlita’s classical background enriches her DJing and producing, enabling her to create innovative mixes and emotional narratives in her sets.



Chloé Caillet, a DJ and producer based in Ibiza, brings a unique touch to house music, influenced by her diverse musical background. Born in New York City and raised in Paris, her early studies in classical and jazz piano shaped her distinctive approach to electronic music. Her sound blends deep house rhythms with eclectic influences, refined through experiences in major music scenes and intimate Parisian raves.


Caillet gained recognition with her deep house single LOVE AIN’T OVER, followed by the

energetic Don’t Wanna (Get Down) featuring Pat Kalla. These tracks showcase her signature blend of disco, funk, and melodic vocals. Her work with PVBLIC XCESS, a collective she co-founded with Josh Ludlow, has further established her in the electronic music world.



Cinthie, a DJ and producer based in Berlin, has been a significant figure in electronic music for nearly 25 years. She started at 16 with a job at Berlin's Humpty Records and began performing by the age of 17. Her music, a mix of house and techno, is enhanced by her use of vintage equipment.


Since 2016, Cinthie has released several notable singles and her acclaimed 2020 album Skylines - Citylights. She has collaborated with artists like Richard Ulh and Dusky and has remixed tracks for various electronic acts. Cinthie is also a label founder, with Beste Freunde, 803 Crystal Grooves, and Collective Cuts, and owns the Elevate Berlin record store. Her extensive touring includes residencies at Berlin's Watergate and performances around the world.



Peggy Gou, a DJ and producer based in Berlin, has made a big impact in house music with her unique style. Originally from South Korea, she has developed her sound through experiences in London and Berlin, blending influences from Detroit, London, and Berlin into a vibrant mix.


Gou gained recognition in 2016 with standout tracks like Day Without Yesterday and Seek for Maktoop, which highlighted her talent for combining dark house, techno, and broken beats. Her 2018 hit It Makes You Forget (Itgehane) and the 2021 track I Go showcase her skill in merging deep house with a modern touch. Her 2023 hit, (It Goes Like) Nanana, topped global charts and marked a mainstream breakthrough. Known for her energetic DJ sets and diverse mixes, Peggy Gou continues to be a major figure in contemporary dance music.



HoneyLuv, recognized as a Future Star of 2023 by BBC Radio 1, gained attention with tracks like Your Tongue and Sway, featuring Dope Earth Alien. Her career took off with remixes for Seth Troxler and Annie Mac, and she has toured with The Martinez Brothers and Nicole Moudaber. HoneyLuv has performed at major events like Coachella and EDC and continues to make waves at top clubs and festivals worldwide.

From her Ohio roots and inspiration from CeCe Peniston and Frankie Knuckles, HoneyLuv transitioned from the military to the underground house scene. Her recent EP Sex & The City with Seth Troxler and her role in the black queer community underscore her growing influence. Recognized by DJMAG as a breakthrough producer, HoneyLuv is reshaping the industry with her music and advocacy.



Layla Benitez, an Afro House DJ and producer from New York City with Puerto Rican and British heritage, is known for her unique blend of deep house, world rhythms, and soulful melodies.


She has played at major festivals like Coachella, EXIT, and Tomorrowland, as well as top venues in Mykonos and Ibiza. In NYC, she’s a fixture at Babel and Playroom, and she’s also performed at Soundtuary in Miami and Done N Dusted in London.


Influenced by her father, DJ Jellybean Benitez, Layla’s sets mix classic sounds with modern styles. Her August 2021 Boiler Room performance showcased her talent for blending 80s synths with dark disco. Recognized as a 2022 Future Star by DJ Mag, Layla continues to impress with her evolving sound and global presence.
